We generally cover 300–500 acres/ hour when flying our standard transect spacing (100% property coverage). A final report is sent to clients within 1 to 7 days following the flight.

Yes. We can survey up to 5,000 acres in one night while maintaining 100% area coverage. For larger ranches, we can fly back to back nights until the desired area is complete.

We typically achieve a detection rate between 50% and 90% for whitetail deer and other similar game species. Several factors can influence where a specific survey falls within that range, including weather conditions, terrain, and pilot experience.
By carefully evaluating these variables before and during the survey, we’re able to provide an informed estimate of expected accuracy for each project.

The "best" time to survey depends on the specific goals of the client.
November–February typically offers cool temperatures and thinner vegetation, often resulting in higher thermal detection rates.
However, our wildlife surveys generally have great utility year round, with each season offering unique benefits for gathering specific types of data.
-
Surveys are almost always conducted at night, as sunlight significantly reduces the effectiveness of thermal cameras and lowers detection rates.
If clear daylight images are important to you, we can schedule the thermal game count to conclude just before sunrise. This allows for a brief window when the sun is up but the ground is still cool—ideal conditions for both effective thermal detection and capturing high-quality daylight visuals.

Landowners Agreement (LOA)- "signed consent from the Landowner or Agent to manage a specified number of wildlife or exotic animals from an aircraft on certain property." -TPWD Website
Signing the LOA is a simple process. After completing our Landowner/Property Info Form, TPWD will send an email to the landowner or designated agent for approval. As soon as it’s approved, we’re officially cleared to fly!

Cancellation- Survey deposits are non refundable within 30 days of the scheduled flight. Deposit amounts vary depending on the job size, but typically fall between 10-50%.
Reschedule- Due to the nature of aerial surveys, weather and property logistics may require slight adjustments. If rescheduling is necessary, we will notify clients as soon as possible and prioritize a new date within the same survey window.
